Four pathways

Start with the pathway that matches where your LCA is

Your total cost comes down to one decision: how much of the EPD Global GreenTag develops for you. The GGTI-developed pathway bundles the LCA consultant, audit and EPD generation into a banded fee. The three self-developed pathways cover the pieces you can bring yourself: a finished LCA to verify and publish, just the LCA, or just the listing.

Full EPD Development

GGTI organises an appropriate LCA consultant and assists with tasks including identifying the right information, auditing data, and ensuring compliance with the GGTI EPD Program Instructions and Category Rules.

EPD Verification & Publication Only

You bring a completed LCA and a drafted EPD prepared to the GGTI EPD Program Instructions and Category Rules. GGTI appoints the independent verifier, then registers and publishes the verified EPD for its five-year validity.

Pathway C

LCA Development Only

GGTI organises the LCA consultant, helps you identify and audit the data, and delivers a peer-reviewed LCA report you own. No EPD is generated or published under this pathway; turn it into one later on Pathway B.

Pathway D

Publication Only

Bring an EPD that has already been verified under the GGTI EPD Program Instructions. GGTI runs the registration check, assigns the EPD number, publishes it on the registry and lists it on ECO Platform for its five-year validity.

Notes to the price list

LCA Development and Verification fees depend on the number of materials, factories and products involved in the project, as well as the number of EPDs required.
GGTI must organise the Verifier to maintain the independence of the Verifier and ensure compliance with GGTI's General Program Instructions (GPI). For EPDs not developed by GGTI, GGTI is not involved in the data collection phase.

The five-year cycle

One 5-year cycle, predictable annual billing

Whichever pathway you choose, the one-off Joining or Generation fee is paid once at the start of a 5-year validity period, and the annual membership is invoiced each year of it. At the end of the period the EPD is recertified and the cycle begins again. Publication Only carries no one-off fee, and LCA Development Only sits outside the cycle entirely.

Annual renewal invoice · 3 months before expiryThe membership invoice is issued three months before the current year's certificate expires, so hosting and validity are maintained without a gap.

Recertification invoice · 10 months before expiryRecertification re-runs the relevant one-off fee for your pathway. Issuing it ten months out leaves time for review or re-evaluation before the current period ends.
