Declarations Excellence

All building products, construction materials, and services are eligible for EPD certification. Products must have sufficient documentation of their manufacturing process and environmental impacts.

Applicants must provide accurate data, cooperate with verifiers, maintain documentation, and ensure ongoing compliance with PCR requirements reflecting actual production conditions.

Required documentation includes product specifications, Bill of Materials, energy consumption data, transport information, end-of-life scenarios, and relevant certifications.

EPDs are valid for 5 years from publication. The typical development timeline is 3-6 months, depending on data availability and complexity. Annual monitoring may be required.
